Day conference for modern menstruators (and friends)

  • 1pm: screening Period: The End of Menstruation?, a documentary about menstrual suppression (continuous use of hormonal birth control) and women’s perspectives on stopping their periods. Followed by discussion.
  • 3pm: alternative menstrual products show and tell. We’ll have samples of various products on hand, but feel free to bring info, products (or pictures), or questions to share. Share your ideas about product costs, health issues, making your own cloth pads, where to buy gear in town, going without products, etc.
  • 4pm: small group discussions. Come chat about cycle charting, menstrual politics, first periods, tips and tricks, menopause, dealing with cramps and bad experiences, etc.

We’ll have information and samples of alternative products, and you’re welcome to bring any books or resources to recommend to the group.
